He is 'physician' and has Octavious age 18 (son?) with him in 1850 Census of Smith, St. Francis, Arkansas but no wife. (Above from Bowdoin book same page).

Clark married Smith, Clymena S. in INT.11-JUL-1825 in Anson, ME. Clymena (daughter of Smith, Abijah and Williams, Clymena) was born in C 1803?; died before 1850; was buried in Pine Grove Cem., Waterville, ME. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
