November 25, 1847 'The Eastern Mail'. They are both in 1860 Census of Tuolumne Co., CA - his occ. 'painter'. They are also in 1870 census of Tuolumne occ. 'constable'. He is A. M. Hill with wife Harriet L. in 1880 census of Modesto, Stanislaus, CA - occ. 'merchant'.
