- Edmund was a graduate of Colby College, Class of 1866. He was also the author of Railroad Laws of Maine, 1875. Edmund and Abbie are in 1880 census of Waterville his occ. 'attorney at law'. He practiced in Albion one year and moved to Waterville where he remained the rest of his life. He was elected to the House of Representatives for 2 terms serving as Speaker in 1873. He was then elected President of the Senate. Edmund and Abbie are in 1880 census of Waterville his occ. 'attorney at law'. Edmund was Mayor of Waterville 1896.
