- 27 Oct 1836 a Guyan married a Jane B. Ferguson in Belmont, Ohio. He and Adeline are in the 1850 census of Pomeroy, Meigs, Ohio - Salisbury Township. In 1860 census Adaline had disappeared and a Sarah F. Guthrie appeared with two more children. Two daughters from Adeline - Mary and Frannie were sent to live with relatives. Guyan was a veteran of the Civil War, 32nd Ohio Vol. Infantry as an assistant surgeon. A John Guthrie was born 21-Jan-1813 Westmoreland, PA to Robert Guthrie and Margaret Lover??
