A Samuel L. Crawford was mustered Nov. 21, 1863 age 44, 1st ME Heavy Artillery. Civil War card has him born in Bridgewater, NH and a resident of Alton, ME. Samuel and Mary are in 1880 census of Detroit, ME. All info on this family with the help of Dean Wolbach Ukiah, CA - a descendant.
