Buried in Pine Grove Cem. is a Georgia Alice 'only child of Wm. D. and Olive F. Laird' died August 3, 1863 aged 9 mos. William is of Providence, RI at marriage. Both are in Taunton, Bristol, MA in 1870 census - occ. 'Moulder' Frank Laird age 19 is with them along with daughter Annie A. born Rhode Island age 2. They are in 1880 of Providence, RI. In 1900 census of Providence, RI he is 'moulder' and living with them is daughter Annie A. occ. 'sales dry goods'.

William married Thing, Olive Folsom in INT. 5-NOV-1861 in Waterville, ME. Olive (daughter of Thing, Josiah and Folsom, Olive Gooch) was born in May 1841 in ME; died on 4 Mar 1929 in prob. Cranston, Providence, RI. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
