- David and Alice are in 1930 census of Montclair, NJ where he is 'secretary YMCA'. They have with them children, Ester, George H., Jean and Robert. David was one of the major figures in the YMCA. He was the first Maine resident ot ever receive a Rhoades scholar. He had retired to Abington, England.
